Behind every great gallery is a great story, and at Prescott Fine Art, that story belongs to Tamara Holcom.

Tamara's love for art was sparked by watching her father-in-law, a celebrated Irish artist, transform a blank canvas into vivid life with nothing more than a brush and a few colors. Around that same time, she discovered Bob Ross and fell in love with his wet-on-wet technique; painting along with his lessons and eventually training with Certified Bob Ross Instructors.

For over two decades, Tamara built and ran a successful advertising agency in Michigan while raising her two children and never losing her passion for painting, just setting it aside until the time was right. When she picked up her brushes again, she didn't look back.

Today, Tamara is the proud owner and curator of Prescott Fine Art in Prescott, Arizona, a gallery she built around her genuine belief that art has the power to move, connect, and inspire. Nestled in the heart of Prescott and surrounded by the breathtaking Arizona landscape, the gallery reflects everything Tamara loves: creativity, community, and the courage to share your art with the world.

When she's not in the gallery, you'll find her hiking the trails around Prescott Valley with her husband, Melvin, and their dog Jazz.
